"I created a style in the Caribbean market that stood out. I had mixed the style of  Caribbean music with American Funk. All of the Calypso bands started calling me to play on their albums. In one year I played on eighty five percent of the Calypso albums that were released from the Caribbean Islands - Trinidad, Tobago, St. Vincent, Grenada. That is what lead to the awards recognizing my unique Calypso sound." - George Victory
